The story
Where it comes from
Dealul Vifor · Dobrogea
Nud is the wine that doesn't hide: clear glass, an almost empty label, grapes from Dealul Vifor left to speak for themselves. What you see is what you drink.
The rosé also carries Mamaia, a native Dobrogean variety created at Murfatlar and nearly lost, which Rasova keeps alive. Honesty starts with the place.

Tasting notes
Nud Rosé is the kind of wine that leaves nobody indifferent, thanks to its exuberant, glamorous expression and its fruity-mineral structure. The appetising, luminous colour prepares you for the intense aromas of ripe strawberry and red apple, alongside perfumed tones of rose petal, mandarin and orange peel.
The palate is fresh and juicy, with an impressive complexity and a fruity structure, carried by a precise, crisp acidity and a salty minerality. In the aftertaste, the wine puts the emphasis on red fruit and rose petals.

Harvest and winemaking
The grapes for the rosé are picked into small crates and vinified separately. The bunches come into the winery, are chilled overnight and sorted. Processing happens cold, under a blanket of inert gas. The free-run must is separated carefully, to give a delicate, fresh wine. Settled by gravity, it is inoculated with selected yeasts and fermented in stainless steel at low temperature. The young wine rests 6 months on its fine lees before blending and bottling.
